Oscars

oscarUnfortunately I wasn’t able to write anything about this before and now it’s after the Oscars and we can only talk about the winners and not the speculations.

When Avatar came up to big screen I really thought it was gonna be Avatar’s year but I was surprised that Hurt Locker won. Anyway I liked both films but not much. There are films that I didn’t yet watch so I can’t say that Hurt Locker was the best one or not. (more…)

The road; movie review

I’m sorry to write this but it’s what I think; I was disappointed with the movie. When I red the book it was so emotional and so full of story even though there is not much going on and you don’t even know the reason what really happened, you are right there with them; on the road… But the movie was short, rushed, not really covering the book and it didn’t do justice to the book. Ok, shoulder pads and baggy, high cut pants were really bad but as far as the music goes I loved those 80’s rock bands, with their hairs and make up better than mine… (more…)

A movie: Grey Gardens

grey-gardens-movieI watched this movie last night; it was a really good movie… First of all the acting on both Drew Barrymore and Jessica Lange were superb. After I watched it I went online to see the real Edith Bouvier Beales and I couldn’t believe my eyes; both  mother and daughter were portrayed exactly the same.  There are some clips of the original documentary from 197os online, I’d recommend you to watch it.
