So far it’s great, I know I don’t have Verizon’s good network but I don’t have any problems with AT&T so far and the good thing is that iPhone has sim card so whenever I go overseas (sometimes I go for a month or two) I can use my overseas sim card in it so I’m happy with my decision.
My contract with Verizon is ending tomorrow, I was eligible for renewal 6 months ago but I didn’t because I definitely wanted an Iphone since the day it came out but I hear a lot of bad things about the service. (more…)
Is it possible to exercise while you’re renovating your house? I think it is… Recently we are having some work done in our house and I feel like exercising more than before… I keep going up and down and feel like I have to track everything these men do. One time I didn’t and the bathroom door was installed in the wrong place by 11 inches… So now I inspect everything they do.
Anyway, back to the exercise; since now I can not use the Wii to exercise I have to make up for the loss. I move up/down the stairs more than usual. Also I can’t park my car in the driveway so I park a little far to walk the distance and that is another exercise for me.
I hope the renovation ends quicly and we can go back to normal, it’s too much to handle…:)
People don’t really understand the value of life, their loved ones and time until something bad happens to them.
Have you ever stop for a second in all the noise of life and imagine yourself free on top of a mountain with open arms, breathing the clean air while breeze gently beating your face?
Or in all the complexity of life, imagine yourself taking a nap on a sun bed on the beach while sun kissing your face and warms you deep into your bones, listening to the lullaby of the waves? (more…)
We went to a pastry shop on 2nd avenue on Saturday. I tried a cake made with chestnuts. OH MY GOD!. It was delicious, I can’t tell you how good it was, you have to try it. It ’s not like the cakes that’s filled with tasteless cream. This had real chocolates and chestnuts in it. (more…)
She was a speaker at the Celebration of Survivorship Panel at the Adelphi Breast Cancer Support Program on October 27th. She was diagnosed with Breast Cancer when she was 21 years old and it’s been 21 years. She had really hard time but she beat cancer thank God.
Last year I was one of the speakers. This panel really inspires women and gives them hope, they see survivors, listen to their stories, how they beat the cancer and how well they’re doing after all these years. It’s a great program and it’s been around for more than 25 years.

Since the past weekend I’m playing Sorority Life on Facebook. Until now I wasn’t much of a game lover, maybe once in a while I would play Bejeweled2 online but that’s about it and on Facebook some of my friends used to send me invitations to join their house on Facebook for the Sorority Life game.

I must admit I’ve never been a cereal eater; I didn’t like them. I tried variety of cereals but I hated them, everytime I tried to eat I felt like throwing up. That is until I decided to try Special K Fruit & Yogurt. Wooooow, I LOVE this cereal. When I bought any cereal before I couldn’t eat more than 2 days, tops. With Special K, I’m not like that at all. I’ve been eating Special K for 6 weeks now, every morning and a few times I took a bowl to the office and ate it for lunch too. Sometimes I even dream about it. I don’t understand quite this part tough.

I bought Skechers Shape ups 2 weeks ago and I liked them, I walk 20 minutes everyday and wear them all day long and basically my knee pain is not as bad as before. I told my mom about it who has terrible knee pains and she asked if I can buy one for her. So I went to Macy’s at Roosevelt Field, they have them for $100 meanwhile Skechers sells them for $120.
When I walked to the shoe department in Macy’s I saw a saleslady standing there and I asked her the size showing the black one.
She went back of the store and came back and said “we don’t have that size” and she turned her back to me and asked another customer if she needs help. (more…)
